How glorious our first night

You held me

I held you. Fitting together as two pieces of a puzzle

Coming together to create a picture of contentment

The next morning of play and exchange

How erotic I find you

The sensations of your touch

And your body

Rubbing you all over me and into my skin

We have just parted and still I am feeling your beaming of light.

Your energy still radiating, vibrating around my consciousness.

It is a gift to be with you in these times of release and ascension.

A gift to be a witness and a friend in the journey we are on.

Traveling with you, arm and arm, linking energy as we drift into the deep magical water.

It is the space and air inside the suspended structure that keeps us afloat.

It is you the gatekeeper who opens the door.

You the seeker of new light and new layers that will lead to the next level.

Up or down is inconsequential, new and expanding is the only thing that matters.

The key is yours. It has been for some time.

Use it to find the way and to lose the path of confusion.

There is new light in the next layer.

New growth, new life.

See the door and it will reveal itself to you.

Then all that’s left is to enter.

An Unusual Response

A student asked me today how long it takes for someone to master EBAS. I had never thought about this before and my only response was that I am not sure I have done it myself. Perhaps an odd answer coming from the person who is revealing the work and presenting the system and ideas within it. Yet, at present, I am still unsure myself as to the totality of what it is I hold within my heart and my head.

The system has grown organically out of an injury I sustained over 16 years ago. I have been on this journey for all this time and am amazed by what has become of EBAS, how many lives it has touched, and the potential for where it is headed. I am very proud of the work itself and even more honored by what it can do, and has done, for so many people.

Because I feel that EBAS is still growing and becoming all that it can, I don’t think of myself as mastering the form at all. Although I am creating it, I am not sure I will ever master it. I say this because as the system grows, so do I; as the system changes, so do I. My body is a different body today than it was yesterday. My conscious understanding of my body and the connection to my body changes daily. If this is always in flux, then perhaps there is really never a place to arrive at mastering this beautiful form.

Maybe this is the beauty of it. Maybe this is what is beautiful about our lives as well. Maybe not trying to master it but be conscious of our connection is really all we can ever do. Perhaps understanding that the moment of learning and the moment of accepting who and what we are is actually all that there is. If I can achieve this sense of consciousness and intimate connection with my body, then maybe, just maybe, I will be able to grow more deeply in my relationship to my physical and spiritual being through movement.

Navigating Stars

As I look up to absorb the light from centuries past, my boys lift their heads to inhale the stories within the wind. We sit, side by side, accepting this thing called now, this moment, this our night.

 

It has somehow become our ritual. A sacred convergence of who it is we are. This  the coming together and combining of our beings revealing the true nature and essence of our spirits.

 

We are from this earth and we exist under this moon. We have been brought together not really of our own choosing but rather the magnetic draw of like minded souls searching to be together once again returning to one another as we have time after time.

 

As we walk on the creek, sometimes a muddy and torrent current and at others crystalline and still, we flow in and out of our present configurations. We ebb and flow understanding our present, seeing our past, and visioning our future. We have been together before and will be together again as we have before time after time.

 

We may have been called by other names, lived in other cultures, existed in human and non human forms, but we have traveled together before and spoke the nature of all things through the unspoken language of the heart; love.

 

So it is that we travel. So it is that we sit. So it is we look up and see ourselves within the stars. This is how we embark on the language that is not to be spoken. This is how we navigate our journey. We raise our head to comprehend this moment. We free our senses to listen to the stories. We absorb this thing called love by opening our hearts.
